The Dean's PrizeCrittenden, Dylan 5/30/2008 In memory of Norman R. Lemcke, Jr., Gunnery Master and Dean from 1964-1975, this award is made by the Dean of Students in consultation with the Faculty. It goes to the senior who has made the most progress in learning from his or her masters while at The Gunnery, and who has shown the same abiding concern for people that characterized Dean Lemcke.
The McClellan Citizenship PrizeHeilbron, Jaime 5/30/2008 Awarded to the senior who in the estimation of the Head of School and the Faculty has shown the greatest progess while at The Gunnery in relating today's studies and experiences to tomorrow's responsibilities as an adult citizen and parent.

The Frederick W. Gunn AwardHunt, Samuel 5/30/2008 Named and awarded in honor of F.W. Gunn, founder of The Gunnery and of organized summer camping in America. Awarded to the student who by his/her interest, enthusiasm, leadership and knowledge has contributed most during the school year to the camping and outdoor program at The Gunnery.

The Teddy AwardPerugini, Michael 5/30/2008 The "Teddy Award" is given in loving memory of Edward "Teddy" Ebersol, beloved member of the Class of 2008 who died tragically on November 28, 2004 at the age of 14 in a private plane crash near Telluride, Colorado. The "Teddy Award" is given to that member of the freshman class who embodies Teddy's finest qualities: generosity, enthusiasm, respect, responsibility, perseverance, optimism and loyalty. It is awarded to a young man or woman of great hope and great promise.
