Misa has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English specializing in American/Comparative Literature from Western Connecticut State University. She also has a master’s in Appalachian studies with a concentration in music from Appalachian State University, where she taught a course in Appalachian studies in the graduate school. She works in the Library and the George and Paula Krimsky Archives. In her spare time, Misa plays the guitar, the bass, and the mandolin, reads, hikes and plays with her dog, Lucy. One of her favorite experiences was touring the country as a full-time musician with an Americana/folk band.
Kori Rimany ’14 received her bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College, where she double majored in English and Gender and Women’s Studies, with a minor in Mathematics. She lived in Durban, South Africa, where she studied community health and worked in the postnatal ward of a local health clinic. She also wrote her thesis on women and the criminal justice system. She is teaching English and coaching varsity field hockey. In her spare time, she enjoys baking and organizing. As a student at The Gunnery, Kori served as a Head Tour Guide and a Prefect.
