Gunnery defeats Berkshire 3-1

Gunnery traveled to Berkshire on 12/6 for a 4:30 pm game. The first period was back and forth as both teams had a few chances. The period ended 0-0. As the second period started both Berkshrie and Gunnery saw its special teams. It wasn't until late in the second period where Berkshire's powerplay capitalized to take a 1-0 lead.

The third period started and the Highlanders were all over the puck. Hunter Sansbury scored the Gunnery's first goal on a shot from the point to even the score at 1 on a powerplay. Minutes later, Zach Pellegrino put home a rebound goal off of a shot from Marc Gatcmb which put the highlanders up 2-1. With two minutes left, Riley Brennan skated the highlander's 3rd goal and empty net goal to finish the day with a 3-1 win over Berkshire.

Highlander's continue play this weekend Sat. 12/9 5:00 pm against Williston Northhampton at home in Gunnery's Linen Rink.
