NEPSAC Class C Championships

On Wednesday February 14th, The Gunnery Ski Team raced at Wachusett Mountain in Massachusetts for the NEPSAC Class C Championships. For this event, the team was split into the Gunnery Girls Ski Team and the Gunnery Boys Ski Team. The morning began with the Giant Slalom Championship for both Girls and Boys. In the afternoon, the Slalom Championship was held for both the Girls and Boys Teams. The Gunnery Girls earned an overall finish of 9th Place for the NEPSAC Championship, with The Gunnery Boys earning an overall finish of 6th Place for the NEPSAC Championship. Margaux Barthelemy had the best girls finish of the day earning a 13th Place finish in the GS and a 17th Place finish in the SL, a solid result for this freshman racer. Fred Hansson had the best boys finishes of the day earning a Bronze Medal in the GS and a Silver Medal in the GS. Congratulations on the podium finishes, Fred! Our next race is the Brigham Ski League Carl Williams Slalom Championship on Wednesday, February 21st at Sundown with a 2pm start.
